Through the abyssal gate lies a vast expanse of alien mineral formations over a bed of black sand, with dark blue particulates scattered about. The air was chilling and the ambience a haunting black glow.

Our traveler begins following in the direction of the distress call. He is met with no shortage of hostile encounters. Aggressive sentinels lurking behind unsuspecting corners. Void walkers blending in with the turbulent expanse. Was it worth it to help rescue an intangible stranger against all odds?

For weeks he would journey through these foreign lands, defending himself throughout and taking shelter where he could.

Traversing through what he had aptly named the 'Void', he arrives at what appears to be a single seated spaceship, not unlike the vessel he would trailblaze the stars with. The ship was nose down in the ground and the canopy left open. Metal was scrapped or corroded in over the majority of the spacecraft, and the engines were covered in ash.

Looking inside, he uncovers a familiar cylindrical metal handle, with a blinding red light oscillating at regular intervals. It is almost overwhelming to wield, and leaves him despondent.

The distress signal had been located, but strangely he feels his journey is only beginning.
